The RenewIT project will be presented at the Data Centre Transformation Conference on July 8th, in Manchester, UK.

The Datacentre Transformation Conference is held in conjunction with the Data Centre Alliance together with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Leeds and Datacentre Solutions Magazine.

Targeted at a technically biased audience drawn from the public, private and academic sectors (with associated delegate rates) delegates will hear talks on the current thinking from a broad base of speakers including renowned Datacentre professionals and leading suppliers in the industry.

RenewIT was invited to speak at the event by Dr Jon Summers from Leeds University who has been a contributor to other EU research projects.

Dr Summers is an expert in direct liquid cooling, a technology which will be used in the test-bed for the RenewIT project. Liquid-cooled systems are much more efficient than air when it comes to heat-reuse – a core part of the RenewIT project.
