This Deliverable aims to describe and characterise the energy and indoor quality requirements for IT equipment in Data Centre operation.

The deliverable  classifies Data Centres in terms of workload, Tier level, environmental conditions, energy efficiency, heat density, and management tools used. The IT equipment operational requirements are specified in terms of temperature and humidity, air quality, and power quality. The energy requirements of data centres are categorised as power for servers, cooling, UPS, and lighting and other miscellaneous systems.
