Project partner 451 Research will be representing the RenewIT project (and sister project CooLEmAll)  at the Open Compute Summit, San Jose, California on the 28th and 29th January. The line-up of speakers looks great and it seems OCP is morphing it one of the must-attend events (along with Green Grid US, Datacenter Dynamics London, Uptime Symposium US) in the datacenter calendar. The panel discussion at OCP on the use of renewable energy in the datacenter will be particularly relevant to RenewIT. It’s good to see the use of renewable energy being debated at events such as Open Compute and we look forward to contributing to the debate.
